ElderCircle’s In-Home Services are designed to make that possible by offering personalized, non-medical support that promotes safety, independence, and peace of mind. With the help of trained professionals and dedicated volunteers, individuals can continue living confidently at home—while caregivers receive the support they need.
OUR IN-HOME SERVICES
In-Home Care Service
A licensed, non-medical service that provides personalized assistance to support healthy, independent aging at home and in the community. With help from a trained Care Companion, older adults can safely manage daily routines and maintain their independence.
This service also offers caregivers valuable respite time—providing an opportunity to rest and recharge while knowing their loved one is receiving trusted, compassionate care.
Supportive In-Home Technology
Tools designed to enhance safety, independence, and connection at home. These technologies help older adults manage daily tasks, stay in touch with caregivers, and access emergency assistance when needed.
Examples include:
- Medical alert systems
- Medication reminders
- Home monitoring tools
- Smart devices
Technology Lending Library
Provides access to iPads preloaded with apps and resources for learning, connection, and innovation. Participants can use these devices for:
- Virtual Health & Wellness classes
- Telehealth appointments
- Communication with family and caregivers
- Educational and multimedia activities
Assisted Transportation
Volunteer drivers provide transportation for individuals age 60+ living in Itasca County and the Hibbing–Virginia area of St. Louis County. Rides are available to and from medical appointments anywhere within Minnesota.
Reliable transportation helps ensure access to essential care, supports independence, and keeps individuals connected to their community.
Grocery Shopping & Delivery
A convenient weekly service that supports independent living by providing grocery shopping and delivery.
- Available for short-term recovery or ongoing needs
- No age or income restrictions
- Offered in Grand Rapids and Deer River areas
Caregiver Consulting
Personalized support for family caregivers, providing the tools, knowledge, and guidance needed to maintain balance while caring for a loved one.
Consultants help caregivers:
- Identify needs and priorities
- Set realistic goals
- Develop personalized care strategies
- Navigate available resources
Lawn & Snow Removal
Seasonal assistance for individuals age 60+, helping maintain a safe and accessible home environment year-round.
Home Visitor Program
A trained Home Visitor meets with older adults (60+) in their homes to assess overall well-being, identify safety concerns, and connect individuals with helpful resources.
This program includes:
- Wellness and safety assessments
- Resource education and referrals
- Support network identification
- Assistance with paperwork and services
